Cabo San Lucas
Introduction
Diving takes place in a cold water - 16°C in early autumn - due to a stream coming directly from Alaska. Indeed, current is encountered during almost all dives. During several of our dives, divers got lost and had to surface, and the safety stops are often difficult to make. Many divers who come to Cabo San Lucas only make a brief stop here, before boarding a cruise boat to reach the even more challenging dives of Socorro.

Unfortunately, swimming in the sea is not allowed, since waves and currents are extremely dangerous. As a matter of fact, during our stay there, we saw two persons who did not follow the security instructions drowning. Another negative point, the breakfast is really not appealing.!

Dive in a relatively cold (16°C), due to the presence of a cold current coming from Alaska. 'Current' is, indeed, the keyword to describe this dive: it was so strong that divers had to hold the anchor line not to be drifted away. During that dive, several members of our group got lost and had to surface. The safety stop was really though, current pushing the divers toward the rocks.
We saw two small sharks, a young ray and a small guitar-shark.
We dived a second time close to that site, but we had to abort the dive after a couple of minutes. Not only there was nothing worth seeing, but also the conditions were too dangerous.
